Privacy Policy (Public Beta)
1. What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Email address
- Authentication metadata (managed by our authentication provider)
2.2 App Data You Provide
- Technician names you create
- Job/route data you upload (e.g., CSV/XLSX with addresses and fields)
- Scheduling fields you set (dates, assignments)
2.3 Usage and Technical Data
- Basic logs (e.g., requests, errors) generated by hosting and backend infrastructure
- Device/browser information (as typically captured in server logs)
2.4 Maps Key (Bring Your Own)
A maps provider key (if used) is stored in your browser (e.g., localStorage) to run mapping and geocoding features. We do not need your maps key to provide authentication or database features and we do not intentionally store it in our backend databases.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide the Service (auth, saving technicians, processing uploads for routing),
- maintain security and prevent abuse,
- troubleshoot and improve reliability,
- communicate with you about account or support issues,
- comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information with service providers that help operate the Service, such as:
- Hosting (e.g., Netlify)
- Database/Auth (e.g., Supabase)
- Mapping providers (e.g., third-party mapping APIs) when you use mapping features
These providers process data under their own terms and as needed to provide their services.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and app data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion (see Section 8).
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on where our providers operate.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing.
At minimum, you may:
- request account deletion and data deletion by contacting info@systemizeyour.com,
- update your email/password via the Service’s account functions,
- clear local browser storage to remove locally stored settings (including any maps key).
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” will reflect the latest version.
